Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to own weekly planning and scheduling for a busy site with multiple production lines.

The role requires coordinating technicians, contractors, and a Reliability Asset Engineer to ensure PM programs run on time and within scope. The ideal candidate has CMMS experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to translate maintenance data into actionable schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; combination with experience considered.
• Experience using CMMS platforms to manage work orders from creation to completion.
• Strong organizational skills for handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced site.
• Ability to read and translate predictive and preventive maintenance data into schedules.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and external service providers.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments and understanding production rhythms.
• Excellent communication with technicians, engineers, supervisors and management.

Responsibilities

• Own the weekly planning and scheduling process for work orders based on priority, skills, and availability.
• Manage the maintenance backlog ensuring proper scoping, staging, and readiness.
• Coordinate job preparation including materials kitting and tool staging; manage permits.
• Partner with the Reliability Asset Engineer on PM program execution and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor engagement and direction with the Site Supervisor.
• Review predictive maintenance data for trends and report to CBRE management.
• Conduct annual reviews of PM and PdM programs and adjust as needed.
• Develop and distribute workflow processes for the maintenance team.
• Support shutdown planning and harvest-season scheduling, including 24/7 coverage when needed.
