Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Maintenance Planner for a 24/7 pharmaceutical facility. You will plan maintenance work orders, coordinate parts, tools, and labor, with safety as the top priority, and manage supplier quotes and invoices.

You will track KPI metrics and report to the Site Manager while continuously improving job packages based on technician feedback. The role involves collaboration with client teams, leads, and production staff to ensure efficient wrench-time and minimal interruptions.

Qualifications

• Experience planning maintenance work orders for complex facilities.
• Ability to determine labor and skills required for work, including external support when needed.
• Strong emphasis on safety in all work planning and execution.
• Experience tracking KPI metrics and reporting to site leadership.
• Proven capability to improve job packages based on feedback.

Responsibilities

• Reviews & plans work to be performed (consult with client, leads, supervisors, originator, production supervisors and other planner/schedulers as necessary).
• Scope and organize all information, parts, tools, job plans, drawings & special procedures.
• Approaches all aspects of the work with safety as the highest priority.
• Determines labor and skills required, including external subcontractors if needed.
• Keeps accurate KPI metrics on planning performance and reports to Site Manager.
• Continuously improves job packages from feedback from technicians, supervisors, engineers, and client staff.
• Manage annual purchase orders & daily invoices.
• Estimate time for reactive/corrective work orders.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective planning of maintenance work orders with the objective of maximizing technician wrench-time and minimizing client business interruptions for a 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Work order planning will consist of, but not limited to, safety & environment requirements, materials & kitting, specialty tools, job plan/task(s), & required labor/resources.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs of equipment and systems.

What You'll Do

• Reviews & plans work to be performed (consult with client, leads, supervisors, originator, production supervisors and other planner/schedulers as necessary).
• Scope and organize all information, parts, tools, job plans, drawings & special procedures required for the craftsperson to perform the work.
• Approaches all aspects of the work to be performed with safety as the highest priority.
• Determines and identifies labor and skills required to self-perform the work or if external support (subcontractors) is required.
• Keeps accurate (KPI) metrics on the performance of planning functions and provide timely reports to the Site Manager as required.
• Continuously improving the job packages by receiving feedback from technicians, supervisors, engineers, and client staff.
• Manage annual purchase orders & daily invoices.
• Using your experience and skills determine time estimates for reactive/corrective work orders.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
