Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Maintenance Planner in Long Beach, CA to oversee asset management, work planning, training, and spare parts inventory using Enterprise Asset Management software.

You will coordinate work orders, analyze parts data, train end users, and collaborate with the EAM analyst to standardize procedures while ensuring safe, efficient facilities operations for a major client. CBRE offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of planning, scheduling and audits in facilities/maintenance.
• Experience with enterprise software and standard work processes.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem solving, and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial terms and budgeting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain spare parts inventory and conduct regular audits.
• Provide software training to end users and new administrators; liaises on system problems.
• Collaborate with EAM Business Analyst to implement standard coding schemes, preventive maintenance procedures and scheduling.
• Manage work orders in the system for accurate creation, planning, updating, and resolving.
• Perform data analysis on parts/assets and recommend software enhancements and process changes.
• Measure and publish facilities metrics to the management team.
• Provide Tier 1 EAM support for the facilities team.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with client and operations maintenance teams.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
