Position: Maintenance Planner - Waynesboro, MS

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner responsible for developing and managing maintenance activities, coordinating resources, and ensuring efficient and reliable operation of equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and interface with departments to ensure maintenance activities are properly planned, scheduled, documented, and executed (preventive/predictive maintenance and work orders).
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and modify maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain Guardian Web (CMMS) for managing work orders, requests, PMs, employee registry, equipment, parts, and costs.
• Scope maintenance work to achieve and sustain mill reliability and performance.
• Work with Supervisors to schedule staff and resources effectively.
• Organize, plan, and kit work orders and parts.
• Review work orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage changes to PM procedures and maintain CMMS data accuracy.
• Maintain all plans, procedures, SOPs, JHAs, and documentation for safe maintenance.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and production teams for job planning and execution.
• Analyze and manage backlog data.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling meetings.
• Distribute maintenance documentation and KPI reports.

Requirements/Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; technical or college degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of industrial maintenance and/or planning experience in manufacturing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a self-directed environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance work processes and industrial equipment.
• Experience with CMMS systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and extended schedules as needed.
