Maintenance Planner

1st Shift/$50,000-$75,000 DOE/HR/30 Contract to Hire

Indianapolis, IN

Overview:

Aegis Worldwide is currently partnered with a variety of sheets, trays, center seams, telescopes and gaylord boxes manufacturing company located in the Indianapolis, IN area. This manufacturer is seeking someone to support the maintenance department across all divisions of maintenance. The position is to build new preventive and predictive documents, modify and correct existing documents and to help plan out daily maintenance tasks as required by the plant.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in related field or equivalent amount of previous relevant experience.
• Three (3) years of proven experience working within the mechanical or electrical field, in a manufacturing environment using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment, plumbing systems, electrical components and spare parts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Vast knowledge of preventative maintenance (PM) programs.
• Experience with predictive maintenance (PDM) programs.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all preventive maintenance tasks within the plants.
• Create, modify, and store preventive maintenance documentation for facility and all plant equipment.
• Coordinate material and labor orders for special projects, Preventative Maintenance (PMs), and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) tasks.
• Work with outside contractors to support the plant facility management and large projects.
• Contribute to the capital project planning.
• Coordinate required work during plant shutdown periods.
• Support and contribute to the maintenance CMMS system.
• Update plant PM documentation, user manuals, and work instructions.
