Job Description Summary

At Advanced Accelerator Applications, a Novartis company, we are committed to leading innovation in nuclear medicine and delivering the next generation of targeted radioligand therapy to cancer patients. We are looking for experienced Maintenance & Calibration professionals to help us reach our ambitious goals.

Location: Onsite

The Maintenance Planner is responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance and calibration work for all Production, Engineering, and Facilities equipment and instrumentation at a Radio-Biopharmaceutical processing site.

Job Description

Major accountabilities:

  1. Utilize CMMS Blue Mountain to create equipment records, develop maintenance work plans, and schedule work aligned with the production schedule, including verification of assets, work plans, and calibrations for new and existing equipment.
  2. Provide technical support to Maintenance and Reliability teams through KPI and non-conformance reports, including regular statistical reporting to management and stakeholders.
  3. Manage contracted vendors for calibration and preventive maintenance activities, including vendor onboarding, scheduling, onsite management, off-site calibrations, and ensuring proper registration and training.
  4. Manage spare parts inventory, including procurement, storage, and budget adherence.
  5. Lead and participate in special projects as assigned.
  6. Deploy and maintain site maintenance programs, update SOPs, and ensure compliance with regulations, safety, and quality standards.
  7. Ensure technical expertise within the team and participate in business planning and budgeting.
  8. Develop strategies for cost containment and reduction.
  9. Coordinate with plant production scheduling, operations, and contracted services to meet business objectives.
  10. Work with supervisors to plan, schedule, scope, estimate, and staff maintenance work effectively.
  11. Analyze work orders for priority and resource allocation, and assist operations by issuing work orders appropriately.
  12. Maintain a thorough understanding of maintenance plans and execute work orders as needed.

The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $93,800 and $174,200 per year. Salary adjustments may occur based on market conditions and other factors. The total compensation may include bonuses, stock units, benefits, and other perks. Final salary decisions depend on experience, location, and other considerations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 4 years' experience in manufacturing or 8 years of relevant Maintenance Planning experience.
  • Broad technical exposure: Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic controls, aseptic environments, and related systems.
  • Experience working in classified cleanroom environments.
  • Maintenance experience with biopharmaceutical processing equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS software.
  • Experience in developing maintenance plans, reliability techniques, root cause analysis, and participating in budgeting.
  • Preferred: Experience with SAP S4HANA, Power BI, and e-Crib spares management.
