The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring the effective scheduling, coordination, and planning of maintenance activities. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment reliability, reducing downtime, and ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the facility. The Maintenance Planner will collaborate with maintenance technicians, production teams, and other departments to develop, manage, and optimize the maintenance work plans and schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities.
Inventory Management:
Assist in the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment as needed.
Data Management and Reporting:
Prepare reports on maintenance performance, equipment reliability, and downtime.
Collaboration and Communication:
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on maintenance priorities and schedules.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in a related field is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in maintenance planning or a related role in a manufacturing environment.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
