Job Summary:

The Maintenance Planner aims to enhance workforce productivity and quality by strategically planning and scheduling all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections. The role involves developing work orders and coordinating with maintenance technicians to ensure efficient execution, reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Required Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years of technical schooling in electrical, PLCs, hydraulics & pneumatics
• At least five years of industrial maintenance experience, focusing on PLCs, hydraulics, and mechanics
• Experience troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Extrusion background (preferred but not required)
• Strong continuous improvement skills
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to follow detailed instructions

Job Responsibilities:

• Promote safety as the top priority for all employees
• Keep management informed of critical situations
• Develop and publish weekly maintenance schedules
• Assign and ensure timely completion of work orders
• Administer the CMMS system and provide training
• Travel up to 10% for training and off-site requirements
