Job summary

Penske Fontana North is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to manage inventory and administrative processes for efficient branch operations. You will ensure parts and battery inventory, warranty handling, and collaboration with service teams to optimize profitability.

The role requires strong experience in customer service, operations, and MS Office, with a willingness to travel as needed. This is a hands-on position at the Fontana location with a focus on reliability and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in customer service and operations.
• 2+ years in service and parts department preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Excellent communication and attendance required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory productivity at the branch(es) to support maintenance operations and profitability.
• Order parts with sourcing procedures and coordinate with Centralized Parts Ordering.
• Receive, store, and track parts; ensure timely updates in PartsNet and regular cycle counts.
• Manage new/used battery inventory and tire stock; ensure availability of quantities and specs.
• Coordinate warranty items and returns with warranty department; ensure timely processing.
• Collaborate with Customer Service Coordinator to schedule repairs as parts become available.
• Provide vendor support and ensure correct payments are processed.
• Perform process analyses on inventory, profitability, warranty campaigns, cycle counts, and RO reviews.
