Job summary

CBRE Government Services is seeking a maintenance painter to apply paints and coatings across various surfaces. The role involves surface prep, color mixing, and general upkeep of the work environment.

A formal apprenticeship or equivalent training is typical for this position. The job requires knowledge of CMMS, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift heavy loads and work in a dynamic maintenance team.

Qualifications

• CMMS experience is highly desired.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Broad knowledge of facility operations and maintenance expected.

Responsibilities

• Paint and redecorate walls, woodwork and fixtures to improve interior appearance.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including removing old finish and applying fillers.
• Mix colors and paint ingredients to achieve proper color and consistency.
• Work as part of a maintenance team on assigned duties and adjust as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas and shop.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
