Job summary

The position requires a two-year technical degree (or equivalent) and at least four years of supervisory experience with strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a two-year technical degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of four years' experience supervising skilled crafts personnel.
• High degree of practical and technical knowledge in electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair.
• Experience with planning, scheduling, and preventative maintenance techniques.

Responsibilities

• Learn, accept and live Century Aluminum's Safety Mission Statement.
• Lead a multi-craft maintenance crew to repair plant assets; provide training in safety and craft skills.
• Provide planning services on plantwide basis to Capital/NRE and major maintenance jobs; manage plant-wide maintenance contracts.
• Maintain and service assigned plant equipment, including electrical power/control, fabrication, and repair of plant equipment and vehicles.
• Manage core-planning efforts to complete major jobs cost-effectively with minimal production disruption.
• Review maintenance work schedules to minimize errors and delays and improve scheduling.
