Job summary

Waterford Real Estate Management is seeking a Maintenance Manager to ensure safety, appearance, and operation standards at our communities. You will manage ready apartments, complete turns, and inspect units for move-in quality while following safety policies and local laws.

The role requires bilingual communication, hands-on maintenance, and coordination with contractors. You will support after-hours emergencies, preventive maintenance, and daily shop organization to uphold our standards.

Qualifications

• Must be bilingual and able to communicate with residents and staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of property maintenance or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with diagnosing and performing routine maintenance and repairs (electrical, plumbing, heating, appliances).
• Maintain fire and life safety systems and schedule required inspections.
• Complete daily property walks and identify maintenance problems.
• Complete painting, janitorial duties, and minor repairs for vacant units and common areas.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors for turnover/renovation work.
• Document work orders and follow up to ensure resident satisfaction.
