Job summary

Southern Management Corporation is seeking a Service Manager to lead a maintenance/service team at Charles Plaza in Baltimore, MD. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with internal standards and applicable laws while delivering hands-on service across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related trades.

You will manage daily operations, coach staff, maintain records, and drive safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in a supervisory role in maintenance or service-related environment.
• Successful completion of all internal advanced maintenance classes and on-the-job training within a year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and manage a successful service team.
• Encourage and build positive relationships with team members, customers, and vendors.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and quality standards are upheld.
• Monitor daily activities to ensure product and service quality.
• Maintain logs and schedules for maintenance work and materials.
• Perform service technician duties as needed.
• Schedule, conduct, and document regular service team meetings.
• Manage appropriate contracts and vendor relations.
• Provide high levels of service to customers and teammates.
• Assist in annual budgeting and community plans.
