Job summary

Federal Express Corporation seeks a skilled maintenance technician to service FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and document work orders using FedEx systems.

You will ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards, guide technicians and trainees, and support a safe, efficient operation across shifts. Strong teamwork and ability to read English are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
  • Four years of fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
  • Knowledge of operation of diagnostic/test equipment and gauges for hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, or hybrid equipment.
  • Proficiency with personal computers; ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety and official inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
  • Document work with repair orders and parts ordering using FedEx computer systems.
  • Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
