Avenues Recovery Center is seeking to hire a Maintenance Operations Coordinator!

We are a mission-driven organization dedicated to maintaining safe, efficient, and welcoming facilities across all our locations. Our team values reliability, initiative, and a collaborative spirit. We're currently seeking a Maintenance Operations Coordinator to support our operations at the corporate level.

Location: Corporate NJ Office in Lakewood, NJ

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Position Overview:

Reporting to the Plant and Property Coordinator, the Maintenance Operations Coordinator will play a key role in managing our maintenance ticket system, assisting with repair coordination, and providing virtual support to onsite maintenance staff. This role is ideal for someone who is both tech-savvy and handy-with a strong grasp of maintenance basics and a sharp eye for organization, auditing, and numbers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run and manage our maintenance software system, ensuring all tickets are entered, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Support on-site maintenance staff by phone, providing guidance on basic repairs and troubleshooting.

  • Audit and track invoices, repair logs, and vendor interactions to ensure accurate and timely billing.

  • Work with the Plant and Property Coordinator to assign work orders, schedule routine maintenance, and follow up on completed jobs.

  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and provide reporting as needed.

  • Assist in basic repairs or equipment troubleshooting when needed at corporate or nearby locations.

Requirements:

  • Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn and manage maintenance software systems.

  • Comfortable with numbers, invoices, and basic auditing/reporting tasks.

  • Understanding of basic maintenance tools, repairs, and terminology.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to guide others remotely.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive.

  • Prior experience in a maintenance, facilities, or operations role is .
