Job summary

Froedtert Health is seeking a dedicated maintenance professional at our Milwaukee facility to oversee building and equipment upkeep critical to hospital operations. You will perform a range of maintenance tasks across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, painting, carpentry and grounds-keeping while supporting and training junior staff.

The role requires at least 5 years of building maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license; MECH certification or

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of Building maintenance or plant operations experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• In depth knowledge in HVAC, Building Automation, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Pevco and Locksmith.
• Valid driver’s license is required; MECH certification or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to hospital operations.
• Carry out repair work, general maintenance and mechanical maintenance including HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry and grounds-keeping.
• Provide training and assessment of new hires and ongoing training of maintenance staff.

Job Summary

This customer serviced focused position is responsible for the facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to the operations in a clinic or hospital setting. Performs a variety of repair work, general maintenance and mechanical maintenance. Which includes HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping. Supports other maintenance mechanics with higher level skillset and specialty work to troubleshoot issues. Provides training and assessment of new hires and continued training of maintenance mechanics on a variety of trade standards.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of Building maintenance or plant operations experience is required.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Training

In depth knowledge in areas of HVAC, Building Automation, Refrigeration, Electrical, Plumbing, Pevco and Locksmith.

Special Skills

Leadership qualities and training experience.

Licensure

Valid driver’s license is required. MECH certification or equivalent is preferred.
