Froedtert Health, WEST BEND hospital, seeks a Facilities Technician responsible for the maintenance and repair of building and equipment essential to hospital operations, with a focus on plant systems. Requirements: 3–5 years in plant operations or powerhouse, high school diploma, Wisconsin driver’s license.

3rd Class Operator's Engineer license and Universal Refrigerant Handling Certificate required within 18 months.

Job Summary

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building and equipment essential to the operation of the hospital with a primary focus on all physical plant equipment.

Experience Description

A minimum of 3-5 years of plant operations/powerhouse and maintenance experience in a similar environment is required.

Education Description

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Training Description

Technical training in power plant operation is required. Technical training in refrigeration or basic electricity is preferred.

Special Skills Description

Leadership qualities and training experience.

Licence Description

Valid Wisconsin driver's license is required. 3rd Class Operator's Engineering License is required within 18 months of hire. Universal Refrigerant Handling Certificate is required within 18 months of hire
