Job summary

VORTEQ Coil Finishers, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for second shift in Woodstock, IL. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot motors and control systems, and replace worn parts on conveyors and production equipment.

Strong reading of schematics and blueprints, plus ability to lift 50 lbs, are expected. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• HS diploma and ability to pass company tests.
• Experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance preferred.
• Proficiency reading schematics, blueprints, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains machinery via preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoots engines, motors, conveyors and machines.
• Locates problem sources using measuring tools and diagnostics.
• Dismantles, replaces parts and uses hoists, cranes, power tools.
• Inspects parts with calipers/micrometers for dimensional changes.
• Maintains equipment inventories and orders parts as needed.
• Documents actions and communicates irregularities to team.
