Job summary

Eastridge Workforce Solutions, located in Carol Stream, IL, is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to hire an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the second shift. The role focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining a wide range of production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including 480-volt three-phase systems.
• Experience troubleshooting PLCs, motors, VFDs, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, conveyors, sensors, and electrical controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and mechanical manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
• Diagnose and repair issues involving motors, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, conveyors, hydraulic systems, pneumatic systems, and electrical controls.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Complete preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Accurately document maintenance work orders, repairs performed, and parts usage.
• Maintain compliance with company safety procedures and established manufacturing standards.
• Work closely with production personnel to resolve equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Perform additional maintenance-related duties as assigned.
