Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our plant's production goals on a rotating 2-3-2 schedule (days and nights). The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing high-speed manufacturing equipment and conveyors to ensure reliable operations.

The position requires 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, with a HS diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
• Job-related experience for 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, Millwright, or similar mechanical maintenance role in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complies with established job safety practices, policies and procedures as specified in plant and corporate directives for the safe performance of the work assignment.
• Supports and follows the guidelines of the food safety system.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, erects, moves and/or dismantles all types of machinery and auxiliary production equipment.
• Inspects job site and equipment to be dismantled, erected or moved; analyzes blueprints and schematics; estimates weight of loads to be handled, lifts, clearances and recommends support equipment needed.
