Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support production goals at our Williamsburg facility. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining high-speed manufacturing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, reading blueprints, coordinating with shift teams, and using a range of welding and fabrication skills to keep lines running efficiently. Onsite work with potential overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or education equivalent required.
• 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, high-speed environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to support production goals and objectives.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, erects, moves, and dismantles machinery and equipment.
• Conducts preventative maintenance and keeps tools and shop area clean and organized.
• Reads blueprints/schematics and estimates loads, clearances, and appropriate support equipment.
