Job summary

Ball Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic in Williamsburg, VA, to support plant production goals. You will troubleshoot, repair, install, and dismantle a variety of machinery, read blueprints, and ensure safety and environmental compliance on a 12-hour rotating shift.

The role requires 4+ years of mechanical maintenance in an industrial setting, welding and fabrication skills, and the ability to work on-site with a strong focus on equipment reliability and downtime reduction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial, high-speed manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks to support plant production goals and objectives.
• Complies with safety practices and environmental requirements.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, and dismantles machinery and equipment.
• Reads blueprints and schematics; estimates loads and required support equipment.
• Maintains tools and equipment; performs housekeeping and safety checks.
