Job summary

GardenCore LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment. You will support facilities and structures on site in a fast-paced environment, working safely in both enclosed and open areas.

The role requires PLC experience, ability to read schematics, and a high school diploma or GED. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential for success in this industrial setting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance/electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of lock-out/tag-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair equipment and special purpose machines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using manuals and schematics.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and replace filters; perform maintenance.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using tools and hoists.
• Work independently and in a team to meet goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
