Mauser Packaging Solutions in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and maintain plastic molding machinery and electro-mechanical equipment. You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, and perform preventive maintenance to keep production running.

The role requires knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting, with a day shift 7a-3p. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience;

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or training.
• Full understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Electrician's license preferred but not mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Replaces or repairs parts such as bearings, wiring, valves, gauges and switches.
• Reads blueprints, schematics and service manuals.
• Troubleshoots electrical and mechanical problems and restores equipment.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and lubricates/ cleans components.
• Works overtime and on-call as needed while following safety rules.
