Mauser Packaging Solutions is seeking a skilled technician to repair and maintain plastic molding machinery and electro-mechanical equipment. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot PLCs, and perform preventive maintenance on motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors.

The role requires 12-hour shifts (6 pm–6 am or 6 pm–12 am) on a rotating schedule, with on-call requirements and overtime as needed. A high school diploma with related experience is expected, and a strong safety mindset is

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year related experience or training.
• Strong hydraulics, pneumatics, electricity, and PLC troubleshooting.
• Prefer Electrician's License, but not mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Performs routine preventive maintenance on production equipment.
• Replaces or repairs parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges and switches and other electrical parts and equipment.
• Observes and listens to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
• Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments. Repairs or replaces defective parts. Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
• Initiates purchase order for parts and machines, lubricates, and cleans parts, start devices to test their performance.
• Participates in on-call program and may be required to work additional hours as required.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures and observes the operations to ensure a safe environment.
