Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; vocational certificate in welding, maintenance, electrical, etc., preferred.
• Ability to pass internal required testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, changing belts as necessary.
• Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns; repair quickly to decrease downtime.
• Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts; order and install replacements.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
• Maintain shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.
• Collaborate with department heads regarding new products and modifications.
• Make adjustments and tests; consult with product manager on results.
• Identify improvement opportunities and lead or participate in implementation.
• Wear PPE in all areas where mandatory.
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned.
