Job summary

Bostik is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to service and ensure reliability of manufacturing, packaging, and material handling equipment. This on-site role in Conyers, GA offers hands-on training and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement projects.

You will troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with production teams while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma with continuing education or certifications in industrial maintenance.
3–10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP).
Preferred: PLC experience (Allen Bradley / Siemens), welding, blueprint reading, or formal technical training.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain manufacturing, packaging, and material handling equipment with minimal supervision
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and uptime
Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to resolve issues efficiently
Support continuous improvement efforts, including root cause analysis and small equipment upgrade projects
Collaborate with production teams, vendors, and contractors while maintaining safety and compliance standards
