Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years direct maintenance experience.
• Commercial or industrial maintenance related experience and/or training.
• Must be able to read, understand and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions in English.
• Proficiency with computers and handheld technology.

Responsibilities

• Observes and listens to operating machines to diagnose malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Troubleshoots and repairs material handling equipment, including sorters and conveyors.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment and documents issues for supervisor.
• Uses CMMS to track maintenance, usage, and parts replacement.
• Dismantles machines to inspect parts and replace defective components.
• Assembles and tests machines to verify repairs and lubricates tools/equipment.
