Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III to join the Blairs Distribution Center on 1st shift. You will perform preventive maintenance, general maintenance, and repair activities to keep warehouse equipment running smoothly.

The role requires reading drawings and manuals, wiring and electrical systems knowledge, welding, PLCs, and strong computer skills with CMMS/MP2. We value teamwork, safety, and ongoing improvements to production and maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• Able to read drawings and manuals and maintain equipment.
• Strong communication with management and coworkers.
• Proficient in MS Office; many procedures are computer-based (CMMS, MP2).
• Three+ years industrial mechanical/electrical experience.
• Welding in stick, TIG, MIG; PLCs and electrical control wiring.
• Journeyman’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, preventive maintenance, and operate equipment in the facility.
• Complete daily reports of work performed and downtime.
• Record parts used for maintenance, repairs, requests, and projects.
• Suggest measures to improve the maintenance program.
• Assist in general warehouse operations and upkeep of property.
• Maintain professional relationships and a safety-focused mindset.
• Understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
