Job summary

Ecore International in Texas is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to diagnose malfunctions, dismantle equipment, replace parts, and restore machinery to peak performance. The role runs 1st shift, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with meaningful impact on production results.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred), VFDs, and electrical systems, read diagrams, install wiring, and use diagnostic tools like multimeters.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience required.
• Certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical, or repairs preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills required.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel) helpful.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions, dismantle equipment, replace or fabricate parts, and restore machinery to optimal performance.
• Execute scheduled maintenance programs to prevent problems.
• Troubleshoot PLC hardware/software, NC/CNC controls, power distribution, and electro-mechanical circuits.
• Maintain building infrastructure including HVAC, plumbing, and grounds.
• Install new equipment, run conduit and wiring, interpret blueprints, and commission systems.
