Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. seeks an experienced Maintenance Lead for the Blairs, Virginia distribution facility on the 3rd shift. You will assist the Maintenance Manager and Senior Maintenance Manager with repairs, installations, and site upkeep for buildings and grounds.

You will guide maintenance techs, apply GMP and safety standards, and help develop SOPs while coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations. A strong background in electrical/mechanical systems is required.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical or associate degree required.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in distribution/manufacturing.
• Strong communication and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance functions on 3rd shift at Blairs VA site, including building and equipment upkeep.
• supervise maintenance associates, ensure safety, quality, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot using root-cause analysis and formal failure analysis.
• Develop and revise SOPs to improve processes and outcomes.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet maintenance needs.
• Report equipment issues promptly to maintenance managers.
• Maintain clean, safe workplace and ensure uniforms are worn.
