Qualifications

• One to three years maintenance experience in manufacturing/food processing environment.
• Must communicate verbally and in writing in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Must perform basic arithmetic and algebraic functions.
• Troubleshoot equipment/process problems and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures operation of machinery by completing preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and production machines.
• Performs welding, cutting, brazing, and metal fabrication repairs.
• Uses welding equipment to repair or fabricate parts as required.
• Observes equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble and perform repairs.
• Measures parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure tolerances.
