Job summary

Casa Pacifica seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to manage day-to-day maintenance operations under the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing repairs, and coordinating bids and procurement for daily projects.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and carpentry, plus a valid California driver’s license. Bilingual Spanish is preferred; CPR certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two to three years related experience or equivalent combination of trade school training, externships and experience.
• CPR certification, helpful.
• Building Maintenance and General Trade certificate, preferred.
• Good working knowledge of general trades to include plumbing, painting, repairs, electrical, air conditioning, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and special projects; prioritizes multiple work orders.
• Performs general maintenance, repairs, painting, lite plumbing and electrical duties.
• Obtain bids and procure non-capital equipment and material with approval; manage supplies.
• Monitors setup for scheduled events; maintains safety and cleanliness of facilities.
• Keeps maintenance records and reports irregularities to supervisors.
