Job summary

Balchem Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair and troubleshoot boilers, HVAC and other plant systems at its Minnesota facility.

The role involves preventative maintenance, use of hand and power tools, documenting repairs, and training others to follow SOPs, GMP compliance. Candidates should be capable of cross-training and supporting continuous improvement within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining boilers and plant systems.
• Familiarity with GMP principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot boilers, HVAC and other plant systems.
• Perform repairs using hand and power tools and ensure proper startup.
• Coordinate and participate in Preventive Maintenance tasks daily.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain facility equipment.
• Document adjustments and repairs during shifts.
• Cross-train to troubleshoot all equipment and repair.
• Promote GMP compliance and quality awareness.
• Source and order parts and support department improvements.
