Two years of related experience and a valid Washington driver's license are required; the position pays $56,952–$66,072 yearly, with a 5% on-site facility premium where applicable.

Qualifications

• Two years of general work experience in building and equipment maintenance, construction, or repair work.
• A current Washington State driver’s license.
• The ability to take action to learn and grow.
• The ability to meet the needs of others.
• Knowledge of trades and safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs on building fixtures, plumbing, heating, laundry, kitchen equipment, motors, and electrical appliances.
• Perform semi-skilled work in carpentry, plumbing, welding, metal fabrication, steam fitting, electrical, mechanical, and machinist work.
• Perform skilled work in carpentry, plumbing, steam fitting, electrical, mechanical, and machinist work under the direction of a journey‑level tradesperson.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment as needed.
• Operate mowers and grounds equipment, and vehicles for transporting supplies and equipment.
