Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a skilled facility maintenance technician to join our Mechanical Systems team. Under the supervision of the Manager of Mechanical Systems, you will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on a range of electro/mechanical equipment that supports critical facility infrastructure.

Responsibilities include documenting maintenance in CMMS, responding to alarms, coordinating with staff and contractors, and ensuring safe, reliable

Qualifications

Position requires high school graduation or GED with technical courses in electricity, electronics, machinery or equivalent on-the-job training.
Minimum of three (3) years experience in maintenance on Pneumatic Tube System or Manufacturing Automated Assembly Line Machinery.
Knowledge of electro/mechanical systems; ability to use electrical testing instruments; computer skills required; welding/plumbing/light metal work is a plus.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation of facility infrastructure.
Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and document findings; use CMMS for records.
Respond to service calls, alarms, and emergencies while coordinating with staff and contractors.
