Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to maintain process control, electrical and instrumentation equipment in Corsicana, TX. The role focuses on sustaining or improving current performance and working with maintenance leadership on longer-term improvements.

Requirements include a high school diploma and 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance or an AS degree. The job involves lifting 50 pounds, working on ladders, and wearing a respirator in a plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical field or AS degree from technical school.
• Experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting plant issues.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans and manuals.
• Basic safety training such as Right to Know, Hazmat, Hazwoper.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsabilités

• Perform complex repair procedures following instructions and specific to equipment.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, catwalks, or high lifts.
• Understand chemical hazards and required PPE for each job.
• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, drawings, and specs.
• Work with internal customers on small projects and troubleshoot issues.
