Job summary

Baxter in Cleveland is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to read electrical schematics, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and perform preventive maintenance across manufacturing and facility systems. You will build and install electrical infrastructure, diagnose pneumatic controls, and support cross-site maintenance activities.

A technical degree and at least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience are required, with AB troubleshooting preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or maintenance certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environment required.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley (AB) troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and utilize electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs and preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment, including electrical switchgear and motor control centers.
• Build, install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and control circuits.
• Install electrical infrastructure and support new equipment installations, modifications, and relocations.
• Diagnose and repair pneumatic systems and associated controls.
• Troubleshoot and maintain inkjet printers and solution operations equipment.
• Perform welding, pipefitting, and fabrication tasks as needed.
• Cross‑train and support maintenance activities across South Side operations.
