Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) in Decatur, IL is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I to perform repairs and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment, and assist with building systems and environment of care management plans.

The role is, in practice, 40 hours per week on an evening shift, with every other weekend, based at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL. A valid driver’s license is required, and experience in facilities maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or related vocational training required.
• One year of Facilities Maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license required and insurability to operate hospital vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Pay Range:

$22.05 - $33.08

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
