Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure facility reliability and safety. You will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, oxygen, and telephone systems across the hospital.

Responsibilities include testing emergency power supply systems (EPSS), performing preventive maintenance, and planning work with supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum of experience in preventive maintenance, equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction.
• Healthcare maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Test and operate EPSS and related components.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, oxygen, and telephone systems.
• Work independently per task under supervisor guidance.
• Maintain knowledge of facility systems and regulatory standards.
