Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our hospital facilities reliable and safe. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and related systems, ensuring patient areas remain secure and operational.

The role requires experience with EPSS, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and a HS diploma or equivalent; licensing in electrical/plumbing/HVAC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensing in a specialty field such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC is preferred.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely test and operate emergency power supply system (EPSS) and its components.
• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, oxygen, and telephone systems.
• Work independently in the specified time frame as assigned per task under supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of facility systems and applicable regulatory standards.
