Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Harmarville is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to help ensure facility reliability and safety. You will perform preventative maintenance, repair hospital systems, and troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical equipment to keep the environment safe for patients and staff.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus experience in maintenance, healthcare a plus, and licensing in electrical/plumbing/HVAC preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in preventative maintenance, equipment repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and/or construction required.
• Healthcare experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test and operate emergency power supply system (EPSS) and components.
• Install/maintain/repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, pneumatic, oxygen, and telephone systems.
• Work independently per task and report daily completion to supervisor.
• Maintain knowledge of facility systems and regulatory standards.
