Randstad USA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our food production facility in Melville, NY. We have 2nd shift available Monday–Friday, with hours 3 PM to 11:30 PM.

You will diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment; perform preventive maintenance; and manage spare parts. Requires 4 years of experience and a High School diploma, with GMP and OSHA compliance as a must.

Qualificações

• High School education required.
• 4 years of experience in maintenance.
• Food production and industrial maintenance background preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot & repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform emergency maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Maintain spare parts inventory for quick repairs.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs and OSHA safety standards.

We are a food production company looking for a few maintenance mechanics to add to our team. We have both 2nd and 3rd shift available monday-friday. salary: $62,000 - $77,000 per year

shift: Second

work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM

• Troubleshooting & Repairs: Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment issues in a fast-paced processing facility.
• Emergency Maintenance: Perform emergency repairs on production lines to minimize operational downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance (PM): Perform routine preventive maintenance and routine inspections to optimize equipment efficiency and reliability.
• Inventory Control: Maintain adequate inventory levels of essential spare parts and materials for quick-response repairs.
• Quality & Safety Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and OSHA safety regulations

The essential functions of this role include:

• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
