• 7 years of managerial experience in food manufacturing.

• Experience coordinating maintenance with production schedules and safety audits (SQF, FDA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain building security, food safety and sanitation standards in an SQF, FDA and customer audited facility.
• Coordinate equipment and building maintenance with Production and Sanitation schedules to meet customer demand.
• Coordinate use of outside contractors when needed.
• Track downtime and follow-up to reduce/eliminate delays.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts.
• Facilitate servant leadership to foster communication and promote promotion opportunities.
• Vary hours to interact with all shifts as needed.
• Develop and maintain an on-call schedule.

Maintenance Manager(Food Manufacturing)

The Maintenance Manager will oversee the repairs and upkeep of all production and building related equipment as well as the physical structure of the building and grounds. This person will be responsible for developing and maintaining a safe, skilled workforce emphasizing the Corporate Vision, Policies, Processes and Systems that we have developed over the years. This role will focus on connecting the maintenance department with other departments in order to achieve organizational objectives together. A demonstrated passion for teaching, driving engagement and encouraging advancement is essential.

Skills/Qualifications

• Ability to follow process with the goal of improving those processes
• Problem Solving Skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• strong MS Excel, Word & Power Point skills
• PLC, Servo Motor, AC/DC drive diagnostics
• Basic electronics diagnostics and repair including SCR’s, proximity and limit switches, and e- stops
• Knowledge of motors, reducers, shafts, bearings, sprockets, pulleys, gears, drive chains and belts
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects
• Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3-6 month time span

Responsibilities
