Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee is seeking a building maintenance professional to support hospital operations. This on-site role focuses on maintaining buildings and equipment essential to daily clinical services, with duties spanning general maintenance and mechanical tasks.

Shift details include 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with holiday and weekend rotation. A minimum of two years in maintenance is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of building maintenance or plant operations experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver license is required for first and second shift staff.
• Mechanic certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facilities and equipment critical to clinic/hospital operations.
• Assist or perform a variety of repair work and general maintenance.
• Perform mechanical maintenance including HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping.

Shift Details:

7am-3:30m Mon-Fri Holidays: One (1) Holiday shift per calendar year (1st or 2nd shift) Weekends: Rotating Weekend Schedule 1 in 7-8 weekends (rotates between 1st and 2nd shift)

Job Summary:

This customer serviced focused position is responsible for the facility maintenance of buildings and equipment essential to the operations in a clinic or hospital setting. May assist/performs a variety of repair work, general maintenance and mechanical maintenance. Which may include HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and grounds-keeping.

Experience Description:

A minimum of 2 years of building maintenance or plant operations experience is preferred.

Education Description:

High School diploma or equivalent is required.

Licensure Description:

Valid driver license is required for first and second shift staff only (any 3rd shift staff member moving to 1st or 2nd shift would be required to provide proof of valid driver's license upon transfer to another shift). Mechanic certification or equivalent preferred.
