Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a maintenance technician for York, PA, working Tue-Sat from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. The role requires troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably. Pay is $38.67 per hour with full-time health and lifestyle benefits.

On-the-job and classroom training will be provided. This is an on-site position with equal opportunity employment and strong emphasis on safety and reliability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to work on weekends or holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 to 50 points with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, and climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch.
• Willing to work in extreme temperatures, humidity, and with hazardous/loud equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety
