Job summary

PepsiCo in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment during a night shift (Wed-Sat, 8:30pm–7:00am). You will work on pneumatic/hydraulic systems, electrical controls, and high-voltage applications while ensuring safe, reliable production across a heavy industrial environment.

The role requires multi-craft maintenance skills, strong problem solving, and the ability to operate in extreme temperatures and with loud equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Capable of climbing, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling and stretching for extended periods.
• Willing to work in environments with extreme temperatures, humidity, hazardous/loud equipment, and slippery surfaces.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment to keep production running safely and reliably.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install pneumatic and hydraulic systems, control valves, and pumps.
• Diagnose and repair AC/DC electrical systems using schematics and electrical testing equipment.
• Use preventative maintenance systems and work order tracking to support equipment reliability.
• Respond to maintenance calls, inspect machines, identify needed repairs, and take corrective action.
• Apply multi-craft maintenance skills to help maximize equipment efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
