Good Samaritan Hastings Village is hiring for a Building Systems/Maintenance role. The position covers light maintenance, repairs, and cleaning across the facility, performed safely and professionally.

You will use hand tools, meters, and basic measuring devices, with care to keep tools away from residents. Training includes blueprints and safety protocols; position requires flexibility for shifts or on-call weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Trade school or vocational school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform light maintenance, repair and cleaning tasks in a safe, professional manner.
• Explain conditions and troubleshoot using basic tools and manuals.
• Work from blueprints, schematics and technical manuals if needed.
• Follow safety, policy, and dress code; communicate clearly.
• Coordinate with department and be flexible with shifts and on-call duties.
