Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking maintenance personnel to perform basic PM on CNC equipment, fans, filters, lathes and related machinery.

The role requires reading and writing English, basic shop math, and strong mechanical aptitude, with 3–6 years of experience. The position involves repairing and improving machinery as directed, across various shop disciplines, while adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Must read and write English.
• Introductory competence in shop math (fractions, decimals).
• Evidence of strong mechanical aptitude.
• Basic blueprint reading competencies.
• Thorough knowledge of machinery, its design, use, repairs and maintenance.
• Strong analytical abilities with on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and functional safety guidelines.
• Perform repairs, modifications and improvements on machinery per work orders, following procedures.
• Duties may involve pipe fitting, boiler making, insulating, welding, machining, carpentry, and repair of buildings or equipment.
