Job summary

Precision Castparts in Santa Ana, CA seeks a Level Two Maintenance person to perform basic PM on CNC equipment, maintain fans, filters, and lathes, and handle manual machines and small ovens. Strong reading/writing in English, basic shop math, and good communication are required.

Typically 3–6 years of experience and ability to lift 45 lbs, work overtime, and collaborate in a team are expected. Training on safety guidelines and use of inspection tools will be provided.

Qualifications

• Reads and writes in English.
• Performs basic shop math (fractions, decimals).
• Able to use basic hand tools and wrenches.
• Able to read and interpret work instructions and prints/dimensions.
• Typically 3–6 years of related experience.

Level Two: Building upon level one, level two maintenance persons perform basic PM on CNC such as fans, and filters, and silicone lathes, minor repairs on, manual machines, mills, lathes, grinders, small ovens, sealers, etc. Basic understanding of carpentry; good communication skills a must in reading, writing and verbalizing, calipers and basic shop math. Typically 3-6 years of experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
• Correctly interpret work orders.
• Lift up to 45lbs
• Able to work overtime as needed
• Work in a team environment, i.e. follow instructions and assist others as needed.
• Perform intermediate facility maintenance tasks.
• Perform intermediate equipment maintenance tasks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
